I am a final year student at IIITDM Kancheepuram pursuing a dual degree in the Department of Electronics and Communication with Mtech specialization in Signal Processing. My interest areas are Audio and Acoustics,Speech processing and machine learning and at present I am working on a project titled “Speech Enhancement using Convoultional Neural Networks ” In that I am particulary doing on parkinson's disease detection using speech signals and neural networks.The main papers I follow for this project are (Jefferson S. Almeidaa, Pedro P. Rebouças Filho, Detecting Parkinson’s Disease with Sustained Phonation and Speech Signals using Machine Learning Techniques) and (Machine Learning System for the Diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease from Speech Signals and Its Application to Multiple Speech Signal Types DOI 10.1007/s13369-016-2206-3) for my masters thesis.

Previously I have worked on other projects in Signal Processing and Audio and Acoustics during my course in IIITDM  which includes “Double Talk Detection ” and “Acoustic Echo Cancellation with Long Room Impulse Response and Nonlinear Loudspeakers based on Volterra filters using NLMS and VSSLMS algorithms.” respectively .

Apart from academics, I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with friends and Learning new languages.
