The Acoustic Signal Processing Lab@IIITDM Chennai is a center for research and development in the field of digital signal processing, acoustic & audio signal analysis, machine learning, and speech processing.

Presently the ASP Lab has 4-Ph.D. research scholars and 5 Master degree scholars working on various research projects related to acoustics and audio signal processing, hearing-aids, speech processing and machine learning. The research in the lab is sponsored by the Govt. of India and industries.
