As of May 2018, I am working as an Assistant Professor (GRADE-I) in Signal Processing in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at IIITDM Kancheepuram, Chennai, India. Earlier, I worked as an Assistant Professor (GRADE-I) in BITS Pilani, India both in Pilani and Hyderabad Campus for nearly 2 years. I am the recipient of the Marie-Curie Post-Doctoral fellowship at Aalborg University, Denmark from 2015 to 2017. In Aalborg University Denmark, I was affiliated with the Signal and Information Processing Group at the Department of Electronic Systems. I visited the ESAT lab at the Dept. of Electrical Engineering at KU-Leuven, Belgium and Dept. of Medical Physics and Acoustics at the University of Oldenburg, Germany on my secondments.

 

Areas of research: advanced digital signal processing, adaptive filters, acoustics and audio signal processing, machine learning, speech processing, and hearing-aid system designs.
