Project Associate
Hello there! I am currently working as a Project Associate at IITM. As a student at IIITDM Kancheepuram, I pursued a dual degree in the Department of Electronics and Communication. My Master's thesis was conducted in consultation with Dr. Asutosh Kar, and discusses the efficacy of the proposed Kernel Adaptive Filtering algorithms in a system that follows a nonlinear echo path. In the past, I have worked at the Speech Processing Lab at IIIT Hyderabad on building a speech emotion recognition system. I have also worked as a research intern on the project titled 'Articulatory Speech Synthesis' at TU Dresden, Germany. I am currently looking to apply for a PhD position.
I have recently published a paper in the Applied Acoustics, Elsevier Journal titled “Nonlinear Acoustic Echo Cancellation with Kernelized Adaptive Filters”. DOI: 10.1016/j.apacoust.2020.107329
My research interests are sentiment analysis in speech, articulatory speech synthesis and audio signal processing using Machine Learning.
Apart from academics and research, I enjoy whistling, singing and painting. I am a staunch believer of the caption 'Good food, Good life.' ~ Nestle
